We set out to create the best action we could at an entry level price point, and our R&D team came out with something that exceeded our already high expectations. The classic combines many of our finest features into a standardized, lightweight and durable action. Thanks to a streamlined production process and utilization of overflow materials, the Classic action comes in at a price point that cannot be beat at this level of quality.

Receiver made of pre-hardened aircraft-certified 416 stainless steel
Bolt made of pre-hardened aircraft-certified 4340 chrome moly with recessed bolt lugs, utilizing a mini-16 extractor and plunger ejector
Receiver barrel threads are 1.0625” X 16 T.P.I. (Rem. 700 thread dia. and pitch)
Includes 20 MOA Mil Spec 1913 (Picatinny) scope mount, custom made from 7075 aluminum, 8-40 screws, and 1/8” hardened recoil pins (1.6 oz.)
Includes pinned .253” recoil lug made of hardened 416 Stainless (1.2oz)
Guaranteed headspace (Defiance pre-fits are good to go.)

Manufacturing

All material pre-hardened prior to machining to prevent changing tolerances during heat treat.
Bolt machined from one piece of pre-hardened 4340 chrome moly in one operation.
Receiver machined from one piece of pre-hardened 416SS.
Wire EDM-cut, full-length lug ways result in smooth bolt operation.
Primary extraction design significantly increases initial extraction and ensures smooth bolt cycling.
