A Titanium action with direct mount capabilities, weighing in at as little as 16.1 oz.

The Ti titanium rifle action is the ideal action for the ultra-lightweight hunting enthusiast that wants the lowest possible rifle weight by utilizing direct mount scope rings. Weighing in at only 16.1 for a short action, 16.7 for a medium action, and 17.2 for a long action, you can’t find a Defiance action that is lighter. Machined from aerospace-grade Titanium, the receiver includes an integral recoil lug and a 4340-chrome moly bolt with aluminum shroud. This action comes standard with our 75 degree throw bolt to ensure maximum clearance for your scope. The Ti also features full DLC coating to ensure you will experience maximum smoothness, reliability and repeatability that you have come to expect from Defiance.

Specifications

Complete action consists of Titanium receiver, 75 degree one-piece 4340 CM bolt, handle/knob, firing pin assembly with aluminum shroud, and side bolt release.
Receiver made with aerospace-grade Ti-6AL-4V Titanium with integral recoil lug and scope rail.
4340 chrome-moly bolt made in one operation, enabling guaranteed headspace +/- .001″
Receiver and bolt are finished with a Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) coating to ensure longevity and smoothness.
Recessed bolt lugs, Mini-16 extractor, and plunger ejector.
8 x 40 threads for direct mounting scope rings.
Receiver barrel threads are 1.0625” X 16 T.P.I. (Rem. 700 thread dia. and pitch).
Bolt face available 223 (.390″), Standard (.480″), Magnum (.550″).
Available in right & left hand.
Works with hinged floorplates and center feed detachable magazines.
Available with AICS/AW magazine cuts (AW on short actions only).

Manufacturing

Bolt machined from one piece of pre-hardened 4340 chrome moly in one operation enabling guaranteed headspace +/- .001″.
Receiver machined from one piece of TI-6AL-4V.
Wire EDM-cut, full-length lug ways with anti-bind result in smooth bolt operation.
Primary extraction design significantly increases initial extraction and ensures smooth bolt cycling.
