Savage shooters, we have listened! The Savage Bravo Chassis brings the superb ergonomics and great price of the Bravo Chassis to your Short Action Savage rifle. The wait is over!The Savage Bravo Chassis is detachable magazine ready out of the box, there’s no need for add-on “bottom metal” – all you need is an AICS pattern magazine (not included) compatible with your caliber. The precision machined aluminum backbone means that no bedding is required. Just torque down the action screws and you’re ready to go!Savage Bravo Chassis comes standard with Length Of Pull (LOP) spacers and a tool-less adjustable cheekpiece so you can fit the rifle to you and not the other way around. A long list of KRG accessories are available to help tailor your chassis to your shooting style. From ARCA Rails to Night Vision mounts we have you covered. For those looking for a light weight and fully featured chassis your search is over.

Restrictions: Is not compatible with bottom bolt releases or Savage Axis series actions. The polymer body is a one piece assembly and not compatible with our other forends or backends.

Bravo Chassis Forend:

Polymer for light weight and to eliminate heat transfer to/from the shooter’s hand.
Mounting holes at various positions will take L2 Picatinny rail, ARCA Rails, Barrier stops, etc…
Mlok slots in sides and bottom of forend for universal accessories mounting
Access hole for action mounting screw, so you can remove the action without removing forend (requires extended hex).

“Backbone”:

Full length aluminum backbone from the action to the tip of the forend
Accepts Spigot Mounts.
Designed for 5 or 10 round short action AICS pattern magazines.
Accepts up to a a 1.25″ straight cylinder barrel.

Trigger Guard/Mag catch:

Mag catch extender button included (polymer version), and you can upgrade to an aluminum one available in our “Accessories” section

Cheekpiece:

One inch of adjustable range.
Can be quickly removed and re-installed for bolt removal.
Made of polymer to limit heat transfer to or away from your face.

Length of Pull (LOP):

Adjustable with spacers in 3/8″ increments.
LOP range varies slightly between versions but is roughly 12.8” to 14” (Longer LOPs are possible with more spacers – up to 6).
Bravo’s include our 1-3 LOP kit which includes 3 spacers and the hardware to mount either 1, 2, or 3 allowing a max LOP of about 14″

Buttstock:

Lightweight reinforced polymer material.
Built in thumbshelf for same-side-thumb-grip shooters.
Can be configured with a continuous angled lower surface or a “butthook” configuration

Recoil Pad:

Premium KRG designed pad that is light, durable, and comfortable to shoot.

Mounting features for slings, monopods, etc:

Forend has M-LOK slots on each side and bottom along with other holes for mounting KRG accessories
Buttstock has one position on each side for external QD cup (1 ea included).
Buttstock includes angled cover with the “Butthook” cover sold separately
Harris bipod stud included on forend.
Spigot Mount can be added to front of chassis.
Ambi QD sling plate can be mounted and provides 3 positions for QD sling.
